Demeanor:  

Due to past circumstances over his life, Hans has a high sense of honour and loyalty towards those he considers his friends. This does make him difficult towards those who have yet to earn his trust however, and when combined with his natural arrogance and self belief, can leave others with the wrong impressions on first meeting him.

​Entrance:   

“Feuer Frei” by Rammstein erupts in the arena as pyro's erupt both on the ramp's edges, and around the Havoc-tron's screen; now showing a montage of Hans from various matches interspaced with promotional shots. As the crowd cheers, Hans storms through the pyros, and makes straight for the ring. Slapping hands with the occasional fan as he makes his way down, he slides into the ring, before mounting one of the turnbuckle, and flexing his muscles as he screams in exaltation at his fans.

​Appearance:

Due to a lifetime of sports, Hans' physique is at the peak of perfection. His deep, almost somber brown eyes, and scruffy fair coloured hair mark him out from the crowd easily. A light stubble coats his jaw and cheeks, though sometimes this is allowed to grow out. His right upper arm is covered in a sleeve of writhing oriental dragons. Not one for formal attire, Hans' usual fare consists of jeans, a t-shirt along with a pair of Converse trainers on his feet though on occasion he can dress up, favouring a white shirt, grey checked-pattern trousers with a pair of black Chelsea boots. Both looks are usually topped off with a pair of aviator shades, and a designer watch. In the ring, a pair of white wrestling boots, and a simple 3/4 length pair of white wrestling tights, marked on the outside with a red line with silver trim. ​Wrestling Style:

Power/Technical/Submission

For most of his wrestling career, Hans favoured solely the 'power' approach to his craft. Having the speed and strength to simply plough through an opponent meant little changed until he arrived in America. In the early stages of a match, he could dominate, but if his foes managed to survive the initial onslaught; he found that he lacked the technical skills to counter them, and at times, even his vaunted stamina couldn't stave off defeat such was the patience that some opponents would have in placing their moves. Taking time out to experiment in various indy federations around the United States, and also Japan meant that after hard graft, Hans could cover his shortcomings, and as time wore on, at times shelve his 'flat out' approach for a more measured attack. 

In the middle years of his career thus far, and after he departed HWA for the first time, Hans has moved to adapt his style further. Taking influence from his time with the Horde, and the moves displayed by his former allies, Hans yet again journeyed to Japan in order to not only sharpen his skills in submission based wrestling, but also to learn how to truly incorporate all that he had learned over the last decade into something that could be easily wielded by someone of his temperament. In the years since, Hans has honed and kept his skills updated, travelling the world to experience and learn.

​Background: 

'The Baron' hasn't been shy of the squared circle ever since HWA closed down in 2015. He's found himself travelling the world, learning and honing his craft as he went. Independant federations and international promotions all were graced by his presence. With HWA reborn, 'The Baron' has found himself flitting on the sidelines as it came to be. His friendship with Butch Parker on the ownership side, Red Dragon on the academy side and of course, his wife Vanessa von Richtoven, one half of HWA's commentary team however have all conspired for him to step into the arena once more out of loyalty and love for them.
