Background:

Jeremy Alexander Branson was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  He was first introduced to wrestling at the age of five by his older cousins who were watching Summerslam 2003 and was hooked on it ever since.  He had a fairly typical upbringing, until his parents divorced in his freshman year of high school.  They had joint custody, so he and his sister were split between two houses, which often caused scheduling and other conflicts typical to that kind of situation.  Although he was still an avid professional wrestling fan, going to shows, meet and greets, etc., he really hadn’t considered it as a profession.  While he was an active athlete on the track team throughout high school, he was far from the best and only won one regional team medal during his time.  He was more of a bookworm and his real passion was for astronomy.  His passion and GPA awarded him an opportunity for summer internships at NASA where he hoped to move into a career.  At the end of his senior year in 2018, he broke his leg in a track meet and was scheduled for surgery that conflicted with the start of the internship program, and he could not attend that year which left him devastated.

By January 2019 his leg had healed up, he began more intensive rehab with weight-bearing exercises in the gym to build his bone strength back up.  He was on the stair climber the gym when he was approached by WWE’s Terry Taylor who thought he had a good look, and asked if he had ever thought of professional wrestling.  He was invited to the WWE Performance Center and, being a fan for as long as he remembered, he jumped at the opportunity just for fun.  He still had NASA on his mind and had started college at the University of Florida.  Sidney Bateman was one of the new trainees and it didn’t take Jeremy long to sour at the idea of pro-wrestling.  Bateman was an acrobat having worked for Cirwue de Soleli and his flippty-floppity, show-off antics annoyed Jeremy.  He didn’t seem to take training too seriously, but WWE seemed to love his acrobatic skills anyway.  It was all stupid politics and Jeremy left pretty abruptly.  That moron would later go on to play Sideshow Bob for Carmella in WWE only furthering validating Jeremy’s decision to have left there.

He continued to focus on his studies getting further into astronomy and telescope technologies.  Later in in 2020, one of his classmates had just graduated and was moving to Los Angeles after getting a job offer from SpaceX and asked is Jeremy wanted to join him and be his roommate.  He didn’t think the idea was too bad, he could finish his courses online and by this time the prospect of NASA was not looking as favorable as he’d hoped.  He finished the Spring and Fall semesters out on campus and joined his buddy in Los Angeles in late 2020.  He started hearing more about HWA’s training facility, went to a couple small shows where he saw Matt Miller for the first time and decided to try it once again only because he had heard it was focused on the purity of wrestling and not all the fancy fluff.  Despite his apprehension, he fell in love.  The atmosphere was entirely different from his experience back home and the routines quickly helped bring his leg back to 100%, it was like he never broken it.  He loved the physicality, he felt challenged, and nurtured by individuals truly dedicated to the craft.  He's set to graduate in the Fall of 2023 and is torn between his now two passions…pro wrestling that has helped him pay the bills or continuing to pursue a career in the space and sciences field.  There is a job waiting for him at SpaceX upon graduation, but now that HWA is growing he’s curious to see what that leads him as well.
