Background:
Michelle was born and raised Mormon. Her parents were devout members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and ran their home accordingly. She lived an average, yet modest life adhering to church rules herself believing in God’s commandments. It wasn’t until her mid-teens that she began to reflect on her now perceived “restricted” childhood… the parental controls on home devices, moderated food intake, etc. The church taught individuals to be well educated and exercise their minds, and as she did so her curiosity about people and the world at large grew. She had never seen an R-rated movie, never cursed, never drank and while she was not desperate or overly eager to go do any of those things a general curiosity remained. One of her family’s many pastimes together was watching pro-wrestling. She grew up with it, and as a special treat for themselves her parents would allow her brothers and sisters to pool their money together and order the occasional ppv.
After she graduated high school, some anxiety kicked in as excitement grew in the family for her upcoming next step into adulthood. She would be turning 19 by fall 2021 and was expected to undertake the traditional 2-year missionary service. The problem was that she did not want to go. Much to everyone’s disappointment, decided to carve her own path. She had heard of HWA’s training academy and being situated in Los Angeles, provided her a great opportunity to five right into one of the largest melting pots in the country. She’s spent the last two years training and competing and is very excited about what the future holds for the company and herself. Despite her departure from the church, and after a bit of a rough patch between them her family is supportive and excited for her and she is eager to make them proud.
