HWA World Championship Match
Also on Havoc the 2023-2024 Recognition Awards celebrating superstars, moments, and matches in HWA since the 2023 return.
The Price is still right
In his first HWA World Championship defense Stu-E Price retained the belt against Hans von Richtoven and Sean Parker at Road to Ruin, in a controversial finish. Some argue Sean had the match one, but in truth regardless of the circumstances the match isn’t over until it is over and the champ’s ring awareness allowed him to capitalized on the confusion and take the win, and celebrate alongside the legendary Ric Flair.
The champ now looks ahead at the line of superstars with their eyes fixed on the title and is already thrust into another defense at Havoc. What will Price do next to keep the wolves at bay and the gold around his waist?
Fatality ppv to launch 2025
From the inaugural event in 2004 where Butch Parker won his first HWA World Championship, HWA Extreme Champion Maniac retained his title against Bryan Deas, Intercontinental Champion Hans von Richtoven lost his title to Randolph Thurston III. Callisto won a Women’s Championship #1 contenders match over Wisdom, and a not nearly ready to retire Black Dragon won a #1 Contenders Match for the United States Championship against Renegade.
The Fatality ppv has been a mainstay in HWA. It’s return this coming January is sure to be just as epic as its inception as the superstars of HWA dive into 2025 setting the stage for the year to come.
