This came about mostly in part to AC James having an influential ear with HWA Management, often pulling the strings. In the weeks following the November Havoc where the tag titles were stolen, Mrs. Elizabeth Shevington, Executive Director of Business Affairs revealed that Bryan Deas was behind the attacks in the Tag Team Champions and challengers. While H&K would attempt revenge in a Handicap match that night, but Bryan Deas utilized his trusty bat putting them both down again, getting disqualified. Mrs. Shevington would suffer an unfortunate event later that night herself following causing her focus on restoring the Tag Team Championships to their rightful owners took a back seat as HWA was turned upside down in chaos, thus ending the most recent of their storied periods.
