Demeanor:
Wisdom is a complex kind of gal. She only cares about one thing...being the best, in or out of the ring, and as long as you're not in her way, you’ll stay on her good side. Since she and Butch became owners of HWA and had their second child, she tries to keep her vixen-like nature in check as a professional and successful business woman.
Entrance:
"Confident” by Demi Lovato hits the arena as Wisdom steps onto the stage. She stands that the head of the ramp as pyro pops off behind her shooting up into raining sparkles as she outstretches her arms. She struts walks down the ramp like a boss engaging the crowd along the way before she reaches the ring taking the steps up. A ring attendant opens the ropes for her as she steps in, flips her hair back in place and takes to the center of the ring, unbuttoning her coat and turning around to each side to face the fans, arms out receiving them as another round of pyro’s blast off and sprinkle down. She pulls her coat off drops it to the outside the ring and stands in the corner doing some dynamic stretches.
Appearance:
Wisdom is what many have called a blonde bombshell and is exceptionally athletic. Her long hair is worn both straight and curly at times, voluptuous chest and figure that is kept reasonably muscular for a woman and tone, like. She normally has a light natural tan and has a small tattoo in the center of her lower back of a Rampant Lion, with the initial “BP” etched on its body. She wears a custom fit trench coat that buttons just under her chest. Traditional wrestling boots, low cut wrestling shorts and an athletic bra type top. The outfit color and design changes from time to time, but white is her more frequently used color. Outside the ring, she’s known for wearing lavish dresses and gown for special occasions, business or business attire for most other things. In her personal life at home, she often wears athletic gear, and something fun and sexy out in public.
Wrestling Style:
Technical/Power: She likes the hands-on approach to wrestling. Favorite moves include: Indian Death Lock, Butterfly Suplex, Spinning Heel Kick, Cobra Clutch, Spring Board Reverse Elbow, Lion Sault, Gorilla Press Slam.
Pre-Finisher:
"Bird Of Prey" (an off the top rope Block Buster)
"Facial Reconstruction" (a reverse Code Breaker to the face)
Finisher:
"Rampant Lioness" (Butch Parker’s Jackhammer)
"Parker Punisher" (Stepover Toehold Facelock)
Background:
Born in Los Angeles, Wisdom actually grew up on a small farm in Canada. She was always a tomboy and no stranger to rolling her sleeves up, getting dirty, and keen on doing anything the boys did, from hay bale tossing to hammering field posts. When she finished high school, she left the farm life behind to further educate herself. Wisdom graduated the University of Alberta with a Master’s degree in Psychology. She started working the field taking assignments in clinics, hospitals, and schools, and it was there at her alma mater UA that she was seen by a wrestling talent scout. She was on site for work and in the gymnasium with a young man, not much younger than her with some potentially life-threatening body dysmorphia issues. Two guys sparring on the floor started getting into a serious altercation with one another just after their coach had gone to the restroom. The larger of the two then had the other pinned to the floor and was choking him. She was the only other school official on hand and ran over grabbing him from behind into a waistlock and hurled him, twice her size over the floor. The talent scout in the bleachers was speechless. He approached her following asking about her interest in wrestling which she thought was absurd. He gave her his card and nearly pleaded with her to call him. A few months later she received word that the young man she had met at the college had died of suicide, something to do with his anabolic steroid use resulting hair loss, coupled with a recent breakup with his girlfriend. It hit her hard, especially being just a few years older than he was, and as she tried to continue her work she just started seeing more bad than good, and less of a path of really helping people past their problems. She thought of her last moment with that young man in the gymnasium and recalled the incident with the two wrestlers and talent scout, for some reason she gave him a call. She went in for an assessment session and was clearly a natural. She returned to the training center several times and found that she enjoyed the physicality, it being a great fit for who she was.
She kept her job for the money of course, and incorporated wrestling into all of her free time. She did a couple local Indy shows here and there but ultimately the agent told her that she was pretty much past what he could provide her, especially if she was looking to quite her job and do this seriously. He set her up with the Harts and she hit the infamous Dungeon. Things were going great at first, and she was very well on her way to graduating but her robust nature shined a bit too much for their environment. She was ultimately dismissed from the Hart’s Dungeon, the honor of the first female graduate going to their own Natalya. Being kicked out pissed her off and she became even more determined to succeed. Fully adopting wrestling as her professional career and not wanting to hear the name “Hart” ever again she moved from Canada back to the U.S. which she didn’t really know much of until that point having left as an infant. She moved to Los Angeles and started working the West Coast territory and decided to incorporate a little bit of home with her. Growing up as she did in their presence, she had a fascination with owls. She got a pet Snow Owl named "Talon" that she brought to the ring. Owls have always been great hunters, hearty birds and symbols of knowledge, both traits she prides herself in having. About a year later she was approached by a talent scout for HWA and signed on the dotted line in 2004. It was one of the biggest, if not the biggest promotion in the world, and she was ecstatic to be there and make a name for herself globally. The paycheck afforded her the opportunity to buy a small condo in Santa Barbara and she moved there out of the main city of LA.
At first in HWA she was shunned by her peers…seen as a snob and stereotyped as a slut, but she proved them all wrong or at least shut some of them up mostly via beat downs in the ring. She's a real bitch when she wants to be and makes sure that everyone knows she is not to be messed with. Since coming to HWA she has been one of it not the most dominant female in the company, winning the Women’s Championship in her first year. She gravitated towards men for friendships, finding most of the women beneath her and saw them as rivals as far as going for the same titles she was as after. Buff Bridges was the first to ignore the many rumors about her and offer friendship, but it was Butch Parker that she quickly developed an eye for. He was everything a man should be to her, handsome and sexy, physically fit and strong, gritty and sensitive, all wrapped into one irresistible package. He was everything a man should be to her, handsome and sexy, physically fit and strong, gritty and sensitive, all wrapped into one irresistible package. They began dating, but like any relationship it had more than a few ups and downs, and even breakups along the way. Butch was becoming one of the highest profile wrestlers in the business, as was his rival at the time Michael Dredge. In a vicious act of spite, Dredge would jump Wisdom following one of her matches and lock her helpless in the rope as he grabbed her owl Talon and beat it to death against the ring post, as a cruel means to get under Butch’s skin. Even crueler during their rivalry was a heinous backstage sexual assault from him. Their rivalry would test their relationship for years to come. Then in 2005, something unexpected would happen as a bitter rival of her own turned friend in Callisto, and through their feud with Raven the two young women would best the biggest Tag Team in HWA and become Tag Team Champions, an unprecedented feat in wrestling. Through those highs and lows, there was Butch.
Her relationship with Butch Parker deepened. They were nearly mirror images of one another in many ways, their ambitious approach to wrestling, both extremely headstrong, and in their rigorous training methods. She however, was far more quicker to anger and lash out where he was often a bit more level-headed and a slower burn. Their relationship always allowed her softer side to come out. In 2007, she and Butch broke up. It was one of those silly pigheaded things that often keep people apart. During their separation, she withdrew deep into herself, joining up with the tag team of Belial and Duriel, Dantes Inferno. They provided an outlet for her to express her darker side. Changing her ring-name to Furiel she became more complex, enjoying the physical and mental pleasure of others pain. She would see them to Two Tag Team Championships, and both an All Star and World Championship for Duriel. Their alliance would last just over a year before she would depart the group. It was this point in her life Wisdom realized that no matter what she did, no matter how much she may have tried to distance herself from him, the One-Man Tartan Army with the emerald green eyes known as Butch Parker would always have her heart. It was their own stubbornness that had kept them apart the previous year, neither willing to yield until the laws of nature forced their reconciliation. In mid-2008, Butch’s ringwork and health took a very noticeable turn and it was discovered that he had developed a brain tumor, that dangerously put his life at risk as an active competitor. Despite her best efforts, and those of his medical professionals, he refused to stop competing which put a deep strain on their relationship and indeed caused another rift. The prospect of seeing the man she loved die in the ring was simply more than she could handle. He was ignoring her concerns and putting wrestling above everything. It wasn’t long however before love won out once more and they were together again. Perhaps it was her focus on their relationship, that had kept her from championship gold for years, it had been four years since she was Women’s Champion, winning it once again in November 2008, just weeks before her man would win the World Title for the second time himself. She recalls thinking at the time how perfectly aligned the two of them were, and it always brought a smile to her face.
However, it was not long before a great divide would come between them once again. In 2010, completely out of the blue to her Butch Parker joined forces with longtime rival Senester. Butch simply asked Wisdom to "trust him." Her explosive nature and temper couldn't withstand the deliberate secrecy, the stark change in behavior and the two were at odds again. Havoc October 3, 2010 would see them face off one-on-one for the verst time where Wisdom demanded answers to Butch's alliance, the actions he’d been taking recently, and even more so his relationship with a new woman. They were ready to lock-up and she unloaded on him, Butch standing there taking the brunt of her fury until finally grabbing her, yanking her in and he kissed her dissolving her molten rage like the sea to lava. As difficult as it was to watch him with another woman, to abandon his family, and to do things she'd never imagine of him her best decision was his first request...to simply trust him. She stepped back and let the situation unfold over the next year into 2011 in an extreme display of love and trust. Standing obediently on the sidelines was perhaps the hardest thing she’s ever had to do. Everything about it went against her nature, but this time…instead of calling it quits she put her faith, her love and trust into the man asking this one thing of her. By June of that year, it had nearly broke them, mentally and physically when all was said and done. Butch had nearly lost his life, and Wisdom, her mind. By mid-2011, Butch would retire and Wisdom willingly left the company with him, eager to focus on their relationship and the two would marry in a private ceremony. Married life suited them well, and being out of the business allowed some much-needed physical healing time for them both, especially Butch. It wasn’t long before they were expecting their first child. Nearly a year later Butch returned to the ring, but Wisdom being pregnant did not. Their daughter Evina Vanora Parker was born, May 1, 2013.
Wisdom returned to the company later in the year following their daughter’s birth but largely remained out of the ring as an active competitor. The women’s division in HWA had dissolved and while she had received offers from WWE and NJPW, she chose to remain close to her husband and keep the family together. It was also in 2013 Japanese superstar Michael James hit the scene and target the Parker Family with both verbal and physical assaults becoming one of the biggest rivals in both their careers. It was rumored that Michael James had been sent to HWA by associates in NJPW, as retribution for Wisdom having turned down their offer, but such rumors were never confirmed. In late 2015, Butch and Wisdom unexpectedly became owners of HWA. Unfortunately due to some legal complications already plaguing the company, they lost sponsorships, state licenses, tv deals, superstars and ultimately fans. The company was briefly closed before they reimagined operations, opening a training school and using homegrown talent to bolster a roster with new fresh-start athletes. Stripped of the glitch and glamour they focused on the purity of wrestling and have enjoyed the drama and largely violence free environment they’ve created. They would welcome their second child, a son named David after Butch’s late brother in 2017. HWA carried on with the incoming and outgoing of would-be wrestling superstars through their training facility and the Youtube channel established as their only means of production since no network would touch them. In the Fall of 2022 the Parkers were approached by executives at CBS interested in the rights to HWA production and its extensive video library. By December negotiations had concluded and in January 2023, CBS announced their deal with HWA. The company, now with lucrative backing was making a mainstream comeback with Wisdom and Butch at the helm of this new era, that kicked off with a Reunion show bringing together talent across all periods of HWA history.
